Seniors Allison Walsh and  Nico Witanen walked down  the aisle at coronation to  join the other homecoming  nominees. They stopped, still in the aisle, and watched themselves being interviewed by Cinderella.
The biggest surprise at coronation 2011 was that all the court nominees were interviewed by a Disney princess. According to Student Council adviser, Lyn Scolaro, the video was their solution to tying the homecoming’s Disney theme into the assembly and make it have that “wow-factor”.

“The best part of the assembly was the ‘whoa’ that happened when the video came on,” Scolaro said. “Not even the nominees knew about the video because it was kept completely under lock and key.”
Shortly after the video interviews concluded, the nominees filed on stage for the reading of the King and Queen of Knightimes: Nico Witanen and Allison Walsh.
“I honestly cannot believe that I won,” Walsh said. “The other girls are really just as deserving as I am.”
According to Walsh, the best part of the experience was just getting to participate.
“When I walked into the gym, I was so impressed,” Walsh said. “Ms. Scolaro and Student Council did such an amazing job.”
Student council spent four and half hours on Monday and another five hours on Tuesday morning putting together the gym.
“Student Council and all the kids who helped were amazing,” Scolaro said.
According to Scolaro, her biggest concern was how the students were going to react the the assembly, wondering if they were going to appreciate it.
“We don’t thank the students enough,” Scolaro said. “They were so attentive and the staff was amazing. I couldn’t be more grateful.”
