Brad Vierneisel – Football
Q: Where did you commit and for what sport?
A: “Illinois State University for football”
Q: What led you to make this decision to play a sport in college?
A: “I’d say routine. That I couldn’t be myself to say going to college and not having a routine with the opportunities that didn’t lead to after college.”
Q: Why did you choose this college?
A: “I know a lot of people that go there and play football specifically and they have said it’s a lot of fun and has good opportunities. I’ve also talked to someone who graduated from there and is now a pretty successful person and they had a good experience there. Just ultimately led me to decide to go there.”
Q: What are you looking forward to about playing a sport in college next year?
A: “I’m looking forward to building relationships with the teammates and coaches because it’s the first time I haven’t played with someone who I’ve grown up with, which would be a very interesting experience to go through.”
Q: Who do you have to thank for helping you on this journey for your athletic career?
A: “Definitely, my parents, they’ve been really open to basically anything that I’ve wanted to do during my athletic career. Also coach Deboeuf. He helped me a lot to get this opportunity. Also Tom Nelson, he helped me a lot become the player that I am.”
