Hello Everyone!
I must say, I am sorry I went MIA the last issue cycle, but no worries, I’m back! With all the nice weather we have been having as of late, spring is definitely on her way. So, in efforts to prepare for this wonderfully splendid gift, here are some of my personal favorite for spring 2012:
1). Lace:
Lace is probably my favorite fabric in the entire planet. Not only is lace extremely comfortable (it feels like a mix between a baby’s bottom and silk), but it is also extremely versatile. Lace can be sexy — and not just in the lingerie way. I love my matching lace underwear and bra as much as the next gal, but wearing a shirt with a lace cut-out is the perfect way to be sexy without being slutty. Lace can also be innocent and pretty. Wearing a white lace dress with an adorable pair of oxfords gives the innocent, girly feel everyone needs to have. Just think of the song lyrics, “I feel pretty, oh, so pretty! So pretty and witty and [happy]!”
2). Peach (the color, not the fruit):

The color itself screams spring. Peach is a soft gentle color that looks good on almost everyone, and it comes in different hues in order to find your perfect fit.

3). Ballet flats:
Ballet flats are always a fashion staple that every girl has to have in her closet. Ballet flats are versatile and comfortable, which makes them the easiest shoes to pair with an outfit you are scrambling to find the perfect shoes for. They also come in —shocker— every color under the sun (yes, that was a pun… spring… sun… ya dig?).
4). High-waisted shorts:
Now, some might think I am crazy for saying this, but high-waisted shorts are making a comeback. I’m not saying MOM JEANS are in for spring, but a pair like these are definitely a must-have. High-waisted shorts are good because they flatter smaller waists and accentuate curves perfectly.
5). Color Blocking:
For some reason, spring run-ways are more colorful than a Lady Gaga concert. Bold, solid-color pieces—like a cardi and skirt, wrap dress or demure one-piece suit—make simple dressing look glam. Just try to avoid matching more than three colors or you could end up looking like a rainbow.
