The 2022 FIFA World Cup is in full swing, and students at Prospect are showing their support for their favorite soccer teams by wearing jerseys. Soccer fans enjoy the competitiveness of the World Cup and getting to experience that with their friends. Watching the games during the school day was an exciting experience for students last Monday and Tuesday.
Gio Nunez-Morales proudly holds out his Messi jersey. “I love the passion. I love the goals, the players, the fans,” Nunez-Morales said.

Prospect’s Hub became the main place to catch the ongoing soccer games on Monday and Tuesday.
Over 35 students gathered in the Hub during lunch periods to watch the World Cup.
