Q: How long have you worked at Prospect?
A: “18 Years.”
Q: Did you have any other jobs besides being an assessment supervisor?
A: “I started in the KLC/Library part-time. Then I worked for 3 years as the Assessment Center Assistant. 10 years as the Assessment Supervisor.”
Q: Why did you decide to work at Prospect?
A: “PHS is a great place to work!”
Q: Do you think you made the right decision working here?
A: “Yes!”
Q: What would you say you enjoy most about your job as an Assessment Supervisor?
A: “Working with students, parents, and staff.”
Q: How would you describe your experience working at Prospect?
A: “For the most part, very rewarding.”
Q: What are some of your favorite memories at Prospect?
A: “State Testing and AP Testing and all testing before State and AP testing.”
Q: What will you miss most about working at Prospect?
A: “The students, parents, and all staff.”
Q: Which colleagues do you particularly get along with?
A: “Hopefully with the majority of all colleagues. Especially Laura, Mosey, Christie, Qiana, Dave and Patrick and so very many I can’t list.”
Q: What do you plan to do during retirement? Is that a bittersweet feeling?
A: “Enjoy life, travel, grandchildren, and take care of me and my family! Yes, it is bittersweet! But I am very ready and excited.”
Q: Is there anything else you like to do in your free time that you’ll do in retirement?
A: “Believe it or not, come back and test!”
Q: Are you looking forward to retirement?
A: “Yes, very, very excited.”
Q: What kind of legacy would you like to leave here?
A: “Regardless of testing, there is something out there for everyone!! Ask for help and advocate for yourself.”
Q: Do you have any advice for high school students who are just navigating their way through their four years here?
A: “4 years go by very fast! Do your best, and explore many opportunities offered at Prospect… Take time and meet/discuss with your counselors and teachers if they want to help you succeed.”
Q: Is there anything else you’d like to say about retirement or your experiences here?
A: “Thank you PHS students, parents, and all staff for an amazing journey! I have met and worked with so many awesome people! Testing and the hard work behind each test is a big puzzle. Solving this for each grade is very rewarding. Thank you to all ! Best Wishes to all!”
