Prospect Offers New Leadership Class Starting Next Year

November 19, 2021

If you want to improve your leadership skills, starting next year, Prospect High School is offering a new class called Learning Leader taught by Music Teacher and Band Director Christopher Barnum.

The class is not a fine arts or music class. It is a class that is focused on leadership and how to improve a student’s ability at being a leader. The class doesn’t fit one specific career cluster as it is suited for all of them.

For this reason, Barnum is excited to teach it for the first time next year.

“Whether you are going to be in health care or law or engineering or fine arts or whatever, there are always leaders and there is always leadership necessary to help move things forwards,” Barnum explained.

Offered to everyone as a new elective, consider making it your next class by talking with your counselor if interested.
