When I think of pumpkins, it’s not the orange vegetable that is the symbol for Halloween. I think of pumpkin bread. My favorite fall food. The times I make it with my mom and it’s gone two days later or we make extra and give it to friends and family. It tastes delicious and is easy to make. So in the spirit of Halloween, here is the recipe to start off the holiday season.
Ingredients
sugar- 3 cup
baking powder- ½ tsp.
baking soda- 2 tsp.
salt- 1 ½ tsp.
pumpkin- 1 can (15 oz.)
oil- 1 cup
water- 1 C.
cinnamon- 1 tsp.
nutmeg- 1 tsp.
cloves- 1 tsp.
flour- 3 ½ cup
eggs- 4
Directions
Preheat oven to 325. Mix all ingredients in a bowl and bake for an hour 1 ½ in a bread pan. Enjoy!
