September 25, 2021 marks the final day of horse races at Arlington Park after nearly 100 years of races. The sold out crowd got to enjoy a bittersweet and emotional day filled with betting, cheering, and hearing the echo of the bugler playing his tune. Songs such as So Long Farewell from the Sound of Music and Don’t Dream It’s Over by Crowded House played throughout the stands as fans enjoyed the final moments of the iconic Arlington Park.
