Honors choir — an audition based ensemble that combines choir members from across District 214 — performs at the Honors Festival taking place at Forest View Educational Center on March 1. Prospect Senior Angelo Bravos sings a solo for the song “Run, Mona, Run” while others stomp, clap and sing background vocals.
Director of Bands at Illinois State University Dr. Anthony Marinello leads as the guest conductor for the Honors Band.
Trumpeters and hornists from bands across District 214 schools perform under the direction of Marinello.
Honors Orchestra members, chosen in an audition-based process from schools across District 214, focus intently on their performance.
