Many Prospect parents and students found themselves surprised when they walked up to Jean Walker Field House for the varsity basketball game on Jan. 24. Sitting outside the fieldhouse was a large military hummer.  Brad Rathe, head boys’ basketball coach, and the rest of the team, held a special basketball game to honor the National Guard. The night consisted of lots of free Army merchandise, a fun and athletic halftime challenge, a plethora of members of the National Guard willing to talk to anyone  about joining, and, of course, the large hummer brought to the school.
