Prospect High School will administer AP Exams
Monday, May 5th through Friday, May 16th.
Please review the AP Exam Schedule 2025 to determine the test date for your specific exam.
Arrival Time:
- Morning Exams begin at 8:00 AM. Please arrive no later than 7:45 AM
- Afternoon Exams begin at 12:00 PM. Please arrive no later than 11:45 AM
Please make every effort to arrive at your AP exams on time. We cannot guarantee entrance to the testing room for late students.
End Time: The length and ending time of each AP exam varies.
- Afternoon Exams: Testing may run past the end of the school day. Please plan transportation needs now. If you are taking an afternoon AP Exam and are in any after school activities or sports, make arrangements with your coach or sponsor to let them know you may be testing after the end of the school day.
- Accommodated Exams: NEW this year: Students with extended time will have the option in Bluebook to move to the next section or end testing before their full extended time expires, once the standard testing time has passed. With this new option, testing time for accommodated students will vary. Please plan transportation needs now.
Transportation:
- Since testing starts before the regular school day, an additional morning AP busrun has been added for students eligible for transportation. The buses will be scheduled to arrive at school by 7:40 AM. AP bus schedules will be posted by the Assessment Center and Main Office.
Testing Room Locations:
- All testing room locations will be posted in the Assessment Center, by door 5, and in the KLC one week prior to the test date.
Please know your testing location and seat number prior to test day.
Accommodated Testing:
- Students who have an IEP or 504 Plan and have approved College Board accommodations will continue to receive accommodations for the AP Exam.
Your testing may run later into the afternoon/evening. You can speak with your case manager or counselor to discuss any needs or concerns.
Classes on AP Testing Day:
- Students are excused from their regularly scheduled classes on the AP exam date.
Important Testing Information:
- College’s Board 2025 AP Exams: How Will They Work? – Review information and video’s on the different digital AP exams.
- Electronic devices other their your school iPad are not allowed in the testing room or hallways during testing, including phones, smartwatches, wearable technology of any kind, laptops, tablet computers, Bluetooth devices, portable listening or recording devices, devices that can access the internet, separate timers of any type, and any other electronic or communication devices.
- What to bring to the AP Exam – If you have a portable battery charger that works with your iPad, please bring it.
Before the Test Day – (If you are taking a fully digital or hybrid digital exam)
- Open Bluebook on your school iPad and click Test Your Device at the top right of the sign-in page to make sure your device meets requirements.
- Sign in to the app with your College Board account. IMPORTANT: You must know your login information on the day of the exam, saved passwords cannot be accessed on exam day. Memorize your login credentials.
- On the Bluebook homepage, locate your upcoming exam under Your Tests.
- Go to the Practice and Prepare section and try a test preview.
