Here’s a preview of a few homecoming events starting this week. Some updates for events are listed as well. Stay tuned for more previews of what’s to come during Knightimes week!
A banner/t-shirt painting party will begin at 6 p.m. in the cafeteria on Tuesday, September 28. Everyone is instructed to bring paint, glitter and props! Check out the poster for more information on upcoming events/activities.
The homecoming parade on Friday, Oct. 8, has been updated. Each club participating in the parade will be able to use their own car, to represent themselves. The driver of each car can be anyone that the club chooses, but must be at least 21 years of age, licensed and insured. Cars will not be provided.
Club members will have an opportunity to decorate their cars after school on Friday Oct. 8, immediately following the pep assembly, from 3-4 p.m. Clubs are free to decorate however they choose, but must follow school regulations. Decorations on all cars should somehow relate to the theme of this year’s Knightimes: ‘Lights, Camera, Action!’ The parade participants should meet in the parking lot of Meadows Pool, and cars should be driven to the pool and decorated there. All materials and props for the cars should be brought to the pool and ready to go by 4 p.m., which is when the parade begins.
