The football team will begin postseason play this Friday, against 7th-seeded Carmel High School (7-2 overall). Since the Knights (also 7-2 overall) are seeded 10th, the game will take place at Carmel, roughly a half hour away from Prospect (see directions here. A fan bus is also available — $11 buys a ticket to the game, as well as a ride to the game and back to Prospect. Already, on Facebook, 177 people have said that they will be making the trip.
At the game, the Knights will have to contend with Carmel’s tricky triple-option offense, as well as a stout defense that has only given up more than 20 points only once this season – a worthy challenge for Prospect, whose prolific offense has scored at least 30 points every game.
