Bonus step:

Grab two pots, one slightly bigger than the other.
In the larger one, boil a little bit of water.
Place the other one inside and use it to melt dark chocolate chips mixed with coconut oil and peppermint extract (you can use whatever ratio sounds best to you, though I only used a teaspoon of coconut oil and peppermint extract).
Drizzle (or, in my case, pile on) your chocolate frosting, wait for it to solidify again and enjoy!
