Athlete of the Week is a new feature that will run online every week. An athlete will be chosen based on a great game or extraordinary play. Then the interview will be shot with a flip video recorder.
This weeks athlete of the week is girls’ golfer Allison Walsh. Her impressive comeback at the Knights Invite last Tuesday helped the team take second place to New Trier.
Walsh shot the best round of her career, a 77, at the invite. Unfortunately she started out rocky shooting a 10 on the second hole. Then she turned her game around and shot 2 under par on the back nine.
