KATHERINE WILK RETIREE Q&A
May 5, 2020
Position: Health Clerk
How long have you worked at Prospect?
I’ve worked at Prospect for 17 years. I’m going to miss seeing the students and staff. I will also miss listening to the music from the band room while working in the health office and seeing students’ artwork posted in the fine arts hallway.
What are you going to miss about Prospect?
My best memories of Prospect were celebrating the week of homecoming. I loved walking through the decorated hallways and watching the coronation ceremony. Another good memory was when the staff surprised the students by dancing at a pep assembly and how super excited all the students were.
What was your favorite part of your job?
The favorite part of my job in the health office was helping students feel better even if it was just putting on a bandage.
What have you learned from working at Prospect?
While working at Prospect, I think I learned how much people come first, and everything else is not as important.
What are you looking forward to in retirement?
I have so many ideas about what I will do in my retirement but I am definitely looking forward to traveling with my husband anytime during the year.
