SANDRA GHILARDUCCI RETIREE Q&A
May 5, 2020
Position: Administrative Assistant
How long have you worked for Prospect?
26 years
What are you going to miss about Prospect?
I’ll miss the activity and energy that comes from working in a school with such amazing and talented students, and will definitely miss my co-workers. That will be the hardest part of leaving.
What was the favorite part of your job?
My job in Student Services was so diversified and that’s the thing I liked about it the most. There was always something new happening, and that’s what kept it interesting!
What is your best memory of Prospect?
That would have to be during 2001 when Prospect Football won State for the first time in many, many years. The comradery between staff was incredible, and we had so much fun meeting up at the games. It was a very exciting time.
What have you learned from working at Prospect?
Through working at Prospect, I have learned to be flexible, to be able to juggle many projects at once, and to build long-lasting friendships with my co-workers who will never be forgotten. Accepting the job at Prospect back in 1994 was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.
What are you looking forward to in retirement?
I’m looking forward to being able to spend more time with my three sweet grandchildren and to begin working with my daughter in her growing speech therapy practice. I also look forward to traveling as much as possible!
