SENIOR SUNRISE TO BE HELD AS 21 DAYS OF PRAISE CONTINUES

As students and staff continue to celebrate the 2021 senior class, a “Senior Sunrise” will be held at the George Gattas stadium on May 13 from 5:15 to 6:30 a.m.

This event is a part of the 21 Days of Praise which the school has created to celebrate seniors as the school year comes to a close.

The days of praise were designed to be COVID-friendly ways for seniors to be appreciated. Some of these days have included Dilly Bar Day where students received free ice cream, and Mosaic Day where a collage of the class of 2021’s yearbook pictures was displayed across school televisions.

Furthermore, the school has been decorated, including the main hallway which is covered in stars that each list the name of a graduating senior.

The Senior Sunrise will fall one day before the seniors’ last day of classes on May 14.

Despite feelings of senioritis, senior Angela Vladimirova is excited to attend the Senior Sunrise.

“I think it will be a nice experience that will bring everyone in my grade together,” Vladimirova said.

Seniors are scheduled to graduate on May 19.
