In Mount Prospect, Illinois, there are a number of Flock cameras - these ALPR cameras join a network of cameras, estimated to be anywhere between 83,000 and 90,000. Some people claim they're part of a national surveillance network, while others champion the various public safety applications of the cameras. I talked with everyone from Officer Friendly to a state senator to learn more about these cameras, why they're so controversial, and what's next.
